Western Backed Terrorists’ Attempts to Destroy Syria
Following his recent trip to Syria BSNews co-editor asks just how so much destruction could be wrought on cities like Aleppo and Homs
Bravo Marx Memorial Library & Workers’ School
Tonight the excellent Vanessa Beeley gave another important and crucial talk on Syria – ‘Aleppo – Fall or Liberation?’. The implicit question in the title alluded to gulf between the western corporate media’s interpretation and reporting of events in East Aleppo during December 2016 and the reality on the ground as seen by Vanessa and other independent witnesses, including the Reverend Andrew Ashdown, who were there to see first hand the liberation of the thousands of civilians held captive for over four years.
The REAL Friends of Syria
In stark contrast to the warmongers, criminals and their sycophants in the corporate media and NGO complex, the true friends of Syria are seldom seen on the nightly news. True friends are those who, in these times of fake news and war propaganda embroidered to a degree Edward Bernays could barely imagine, give voice to the voiceless.
Rank Hypocrisy at UK Foreign Office
It is no exaggeration to suggest that in the past century alone the UK has been at the forefront of the bloody industry that is modern war and has done everything possible to avoid and disrupt the peace. Barely a year has gone by since the end of the second world war when the British military were not fighting and killing in some far off country
UK participation in strikes on Syrian troops: ‘Syrian army location was known, they’ve been there for 2 years’
It will be now impossible to get to the truth since the coalition is doing its own investigation on what they call a “blunder”
“Food Insecurity” Otherwise Known As Famine, Starvation and Death in Ethiopia 2016
You may be thinking ‘but this disaster befell that poor African country more than thirty years ago, surely things must be better today’. Well sadly, no, things are not any better. Syria: University students in Homs celebrate army gains over IS
Syrian students and teachers of one of the country’s biggest universities gathered in the centre of Homs, Wednesday, to thank Russia for its role in the Syrian conflict. You can hear them chanting Bashar al-Assad and they are carrying banners featuring Assad and Putin’s faces.
Isn’t it Time We Stopped Colluding With Radical Islam?
Anyone else think it’s time our governments stopped colluding with radical Islam? Stopped arming, training and financing these crazed psychopaths? Imposed sanctions on their ideological sponsors, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia? No? Ok, fuck it, its just me then!
“The dogs bark, but the caravan passes on.”
Only when Mark Carney, Christine Lagarde and Prince Charles start talking about the abolition of privately created debt-based money should we even begin to take them seriously. Of course such an affront to the obscenely wealthy would have seen even Prince Charles ejected from the Mansion House soiree.
“A Leap into Darkness”
“…we will need to cancel parliamentarism, ban all political parties, nationalize the entire industry, all media, prohibit the importation of any literature to Ukraine from Russia… completely replace the leaders of the civil service, education management, military (especially in the East), physically liquidate all Russian-speaking intellectuals and all Ukrainophobes… execute all members of the anti-Ukrainian political parties…”
Public Banks or More Private Sector Subsidies
Rather than the powerhouse of the economy (as Boris likes to imagine), private banks are some of the most heavily-subsidized businesses in the world, notwithstanding the huge subsidies gifted to the military and arms companies.
“it is hard to see why institutions whose failure cannot be contemplated should be in the private sector in the first place”.
