The great Eva Bartlett gave a must see presentation at the Mot Dag conference in Oslo this past weekend, exposing the corporate media distortion which promotes the regime change narrative in Syria and suppresses the voices of the majority of Syrians. Originally published (Mot Dag TV)
Brilliant independent journalist, Eva Bartlett, is at this moment in Aleppo bringing us more outstanding journalism on the Syrian conflict. Above is her compelling audio interview with Ibrahim, an Aleppo resident, who discusses with great eloquence his experiences volunteering with the Syrian army to rid his city of the NATO/Gulf State/Israeli backed Jihadists who terrorised its citizens for four years. […]
The photograph above shows independent journalist, Vanessa Beeley and Shade Shhde whose three children, wife and mother were all killed in the massacre at Mhardeh, Syria – an outrage ignored by the West’s corporate media. Shade is giving Vanessa the bracelet his eldest daughter used to wear. This almost unbearably moving gesture is a grieving man’s way of demonstrating how much […]
MHARDEH, SYRIA — (War Report) On September 7, Mhardeh, a small Christian town in northern Hama, was targeted with nine Grad missiles — six of which were fitted with internationally-prohibited cluster sub-munitions — by al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists roughly four kilometers away from the town center, occupying the northern Hama countryside areas of Ltamenah and surroundings. We don’t normally do movie reviews here at BSNews. In fact, we usually concentrate exclusively on geo-politics and foreign policy, steer clear of sports and let others cover gossip and popular culture. My co-ed occasionally reveals her anthropological fascination and ultimate exasperation with the insidious twins of celebrity culture and the advertising industry but for me, I avoid them both like the plague, I never watch TV and I wouldn’t know a Kardashian if one punched me in the face.
Overnight, the world was introduced to Omran, who became the poster child of suffering in Syria due to extensive coverage by Western corporate media. The al-Qaeda-affiliated White Helmets, and subsequently the media, made the child’s injuries out to seem far more serious than they actually were.
In stark contrast to the warmongers, criminals and their sycophants in the corporate media and NGO complex, the true friends of Syria are seldom seen on the nightly news. True friends are those who, in these times of fake news and war propaganda embroidered to a degree Edward Bernays could barely imagine, give voice to the voiceless.
The mainstream U.S. news has supplied a consistent narrative regarding Syria that treats the “rebels” as the good guys and the “regime forces” as the bad guys, but it has never been that clear-cut, as Dennis J Bernstein reports.
Since June 13, 2016, I have been visiting different regions of Syria but have not had sufficient time to post regularly. However, until I am able to, I will share some brief updates I had shared on social media, and otherwise refer to my writings/photos/videos from my prior 4 visits. Going through my files, I found two short clips. In the first […]
