Yes. I too find Monbiot strangely inconsistent when ‘connecting the dots’. I worked for a time as a Marine Accident Investigator with Transport Canada. I would be thoroughly ashamed to submit a report with all the obvious flaws that this OPCW report contains. If l had such a continuity of evidence lacuna in my reports for prosecuting pollutants the case could never go to court. It is really sad when professionals prostitute their integrity as these inspectors have done. They must know they are being made to look foolish. Why didn’t they just write what they knew. Maybe they were threatened. If so they should have resigned. Luckily l was never put in this position? I feel for them, but they must be truthful. The UN is nowadays virtually irrelevant.
