Their claim that ‘people are better off in employment’ is known by them to be untrue. They know the truth is that people, however incapacitated they are, solely benefit the budget if wrongfully found ‘fit for work’. The unemployed cannot be tarred with the same brush irrespective of individual needs and predicaments. The Government knows that, but does so anyway and in doing so is knowingly committing acts of human rights abuse against them.
