Thanks Jay, yes you’re absolutely right that the corrupt state actors have no compunction whatsoever in trashing all human rights if it serves their aims. And their colluders in the corporate media are just as guilty. What they have done to Assange is a moral outrage of the highest order. The fact that he’s even still alive is a miracle. UN special rapporteur on torture Hans Melzer was horrified when he visited him saying he was close to death. Assange must have a will of iron. He’s a hero.
