Hi Bob,

I'm an independent journalist interested in your statement that benefits should be removed from the protesters at St. Paul's.

Firstly I will challenge your blanket assumption by telling you that I know of one resident of Democracy Village (which set up camp in Parliament Sq) who had a full-time job while he resided there. Let's not allow prejudice to cloud our judgement shall we?

Secondly, those at the camp have access to the internet which means that they can look for work, but most relevantly, could you explain where these jobs are that they are avoiding applying for? Where are these plentiful vacancies and abundant opportunities? Read more...
